We are hoping that most of our guests will have arrived by this date. This is to be confirmed, but our initial idea is that in the evening (9:30-10pm..) we will be drinking in a bar in the village square in Trikeri and would be happy to see you there! (if you are arriving late that night, we guess you’ll just want to get to sleep!)

Friday 1 June

Spend the day wandering around, relaxing, swimming. Then meeting at Milos Beach 6:30 - 7 pm for Bob’s Baptism (we will probably be swimming there beforehand), followed by dinner at a fish taverna in Agia Kyriaki (walk or drive there). Dress code is informal (you may want a dip in the sea too!).

Saturday 2 June

The day of the wedding! Again, spend the day wandering around, relaxing, swimming....

I would recommend sleeping as the wedding will go on til dawn!!

then meet in the village square in Trikeri between 6-6:30pm (see plan below), where a small band will lead the procession (headed by Bob!) to the Church. The band will then leave to collect Maria and her family, leading them to the Church to meet Bob! The ceremony lasts about 1 hour, after which there will be a reception outside for about an hour, followed by everyone walking together to the village square for dinner and dancing.... Dress code is smart (suits for the men!) but no hats or tail coats! Bear in mind that it could be quite warm even at 7pm in the evening, although a bit cooler as the night goes on, so bring a jacket or pashmina. Tricky terrain (cobblestones, slippery and slopey) so heels not recommended, although Greek women have been seen to negotiate it all in 7 inch heels.

Then guests are to arrive to meet him - those not drinking and wishing to take car should park in

car park, otherwise come by minibus or taxi (guests encouraged NOT to take cars as

roads dark and twisting!)

Minibus schedule:

5:30 collect / departure of all those staying in Agia Kyriaki

Meet at harbour / car park area - be on time please!

6:00 collect guests from Milos & Lambis (2 trips if necessary) all guests please

walk up to the top of the road as minibus cannot drive down

Guests at Alogoporos to take Taxis with Vangelis (he will know)

All depart from square around 6:30pm to church ....

Sunday 3 June

For all the survivors of the night before, a day of swimming and

eating at Alogoporos (with birthday cakes for two of our guests!) meet there

from 3pm onwards
